A few days ago , we celebrated World Tourism Day at the Nike Art Gallery and Explore Travel Magazine was there to capture it all.
It was an Arts Exhibition by Sterling Bank in Partnership with Nike Art Gallery and the Theme for this year’s World Tourism Day is “ Tourism for Inclusive Growth “ .
Tourism for Inclusive growth is to ensure that growth in the tourism sector returns with millions of lives improved. Post Covid ,livelihoods were affected by the crisis, it is now time for us to rethink, transform and safely restart tourism.
The exhibition brought stakeholders in the industry together,from the MD/CEO of Sterling bank Abubakar Suleiman to the Tourism Manager Sterling Bank, Abiola Adelana ,Prince Yemisi Shyllon ,lots of dignitaries,tourism stakeholders and the delectable Dr. Mrs. Nike Okundaye who co-hosted the event.
There was an exhibition of traditional wears , cultural dances and also a display of artistic and cultural artifacts.
The event was nicely put together and it was a way of showcasing our cultural and historical heritage.
